Three steps
- Download the file above. If the browser asks whether to keep it, choose Keep.
- Double-click the downloaded file
ProHubAgent-Setup-0.3.2.cmdin your Downloads folder. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. When it asks “Do you want to allow this app to make changes?”, click Yes. A black window shows the progress and closes by itself. - Sign in on the ProHub screen that appears, with the same email and password you use for this website. That is all: the PC is registered to you and is set up. After that, ProHub starts with Windows and asks you to sign in again when your session runs out, normally at the start of each working day.
What you might see
- Wrong email or password — the same sign-in as this website. Try again.
- Waiting for approval by IT — IT approves new PCs on the Devices page. Sign in again after they have done so.
- Registered to another user — the PC belongs to a colleague in ProHub. Ask IT to reassign it (Devices → Return, then Allocate) and sign in again.
- Cannot reach the server — check the network connection, then sign in again.
For IT
- The installer needs one administrator approval (UAC). It installs to
C:\Program Files\ProHubAgentwith Administrators/SYSTEM full control and Users read-only, adds a Windows Defender exclusion for the one program file, registers ProHub Agent in Apps & features, creates a Startup shortcut for all users and starts the agent for the person logged in. No questions are asked. - The first sign-in registers the PC itself (matched by its Windows MachineGuid, so a reinstall re-keys the same device rather than adding one). It appears on the Devices page as self-registered, allocated to that employee. Set
PROHUB_DEVICE_ENROLLMENT=approveto hold new PCs as Awaiting approval, oroffto allow only PCs registered by hand. - Register a PC by hand only to pre-assign its serial number or to provision with a typed Device ID and secret (
ProHubAgent.exe provision); a self-enrolment adopts a device whose serial matches. - From PowerShell the same installer runs as
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\ProHubAgent-Setup-version.ps1with-Auto(no pauses, agent not started) and-DryRun(verify and unpack to a temporary folder only, no administrator rights).
